Psychology for Living
provides psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to
adolescents and adults for a wide
range of mental health problems, including but not limited to
depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, phobias, and addictions.
We employ cognitive-behavioral,
evidence-based treatment
with a humanistic, experiential emphasis in order
to
reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and
maximize personal potential
in a comfortable and caring
environment.
We believe that in order to treat any psychological problem, the entire
person and their circumstances must be considered in order to bring
about lasting change through realistic intervention. We specialize
in the
relationship between mental health problems, addictive behaviors, and
how these impact intra- and interpersonal functioning.
Our office is conveniently located
at 191 East Chestnut Street between Merrimon Avenue and Charlotte Street
north of I-240 in Asheville, North Carolina.
